Yes, Leroy Greene Academy is a dependent charter school within the Natomas Unified School District.

“Does LGA charge tuition?”

LGA is a tuition-free, public school option for families in the Sacramento area.

“What grade levels does Leroy Greene Academy offer?”

In Fall of 2018, Leroy Greene Academy offers 6th, 7th, 8th, 9th, 10th, 11th, and 12th-grade levels.

“How does Leroy Greene Academy differ from other local charter schools?”

Leroy Greene Academy features two innovative programs of study: Visual Arts & Technology and Business & Marketing.

“When will LGA be accepting applications for the 2019-2020 school year?”

The application window is currently closed for the 2019-2020 school year. The window opened Monday, October 15th and closed on Friday, December 21st. Families will be able to either apply via the website with an online form that will be automatically time-stamped upon submission or via a paper application that will be available at LGA’s front office, Monday-Friday, 8 AM to 3:30 PM. This application is only for students not currently enrolled in LGA. Current LGA students do not need to submit an application. Intent to return forms will be distributed in February 2019.

“Does LGA have athletic teams?”

LGA is a member of the California Interscholastic Federation (CIF).  We offer middle school sports, along with high school sports at LGA.
