College Bound NCAA Student Athletes

National Collegiate Athletic Association is an organization founded in 1906 that has established rules on eligibility, recruiting and financial aid. If you then plan to participate in a Division I or Division II sport in college then you must be certified by the NCAA Initial Eligibility Clearinghouse.

If a student is a candidate for an athletic scholarship and plans a trip to the college they must be registered and cleared by the NCAA prior to the visit.

The student also must request his/her SAT test scores be sent to NCAA (Code 9999).

If a student plans to play a sport or walk on at a community college, the student should contact the college coach directly through email/phone call.
