Superintendent Chris Evans presented our local plan to reopen our schools for 2020-21. Our local plan will follow state and county guidelines. It provides parents options for their students while keeping education and safety for all Natomas Unified front and center.
In our ongoing effort to continue feeding our students after the last day of school and while we are required to have limited contact with others due to COVID-19, we will continue to provide free meals to anyone 18 years and younger from May 22nd through July 31st at all 15 NUSD sites. This includes breakfast, lunch, supper, and meals that can be taken home for the weekend on Fridays.

We are excited to share that effective Friday, May 1, we will expand our Mobile Meal Service to include supper, snack, and weekend meals. The mobile meal service will continue to be available at all 15 sites between 11:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. Monday – Friday. To practice social distancing, parents are asked to remain in their vehicles for pick up and walkers are asked to follow the instructions of staff when they arrive to ensure the safety of everyone.
