World’s Finest Chocolate Sales 

The chocolate Sale is going on now! Remember, if your child has chocolate have them sell it and bring their cash in to receive their prizes! The sale ends September 25th! Thanks for your support. We’re looking forward to using the money in order to buy a mascot, have a night homecoming game, and provide a blacklight dance! We appreciate your support.

Club Rush 

Club rush is coming up on September 20th! Clubs will be out on the blacktop at lunch, advertising and attempting to get student sign ups! Check in with your kids and talk to them about how useful it is to be involved in school.

Middle School Leadership Applications

Attention middle schoolers, interested in joining middle school leadership? Get your applications in to either the front office or Mrs. Mijares by Tuesday, September 19th! It may be a big commitment, but you have the chance to control the direction of the school and can throw events that the student body want!

Senior Caps, Gowns, and Class Rings

Attention senior parents – paperwork for caps, gowns, and class rings that you received last Thursday are due on September 20th at lunch. Ken Caldiera, our Jostens rep, will be out there to receive the paperwork at the club rush during lunch.

LGA Spaghetti Feed

LGA’s annual Spaghetti Feed is coming up – it is a chance to take your family out for dinner while supporting the school. Come buy a ticket from either the front office or the student store at B-119. Presale for the dinner is $10 per person or $35 for a family of four. The event will provide live music, and a served meal put of spaghetti, bread, soda, and desserts. Students will be the waiters. Prices go up to $15 per person and $50 for four people at the door, so we suggest buying our tickets soon. The dinner is on September 28th from 6-8 pm.

Homecoming 2017

Homecoming is approaching soon and float building has started. If you are the parent of a high school student, encourage your child to come and hep build their float after school until 5 pm. The theme of homecoming is Once upon a time.The freshman float is Beauty and the Beast, Sophomores have Nightmare before Christmas, Juniors have The Lion King, and Seniors have Alice in Wonderland.
