LGA will be administering the PSAT to all 10th graders, and some selected 11th graders at LGA on Wednesday, October 16th, 2019 during school hours at NO COST to our students! The PSAT will be administered from 8:30-12:30 pm.
The PSAT is designed to help students prepare for the SAT. Students can become familiar with the types of questions and the exact directions they will see on the SAT. The PSAT assesses skills developed through years of study in a wide range of courses as well as through experiences outside the classroom. It is many students’ first official step on the path to college. The PSAT lets individual students compare their ability to do college work with the ability of other college-bound students. After the test, students receive a Report of Student Answers and a test book to review their performance.
