Kendra Secondo, Leroy Greene Academy’s Director of Student Affairs, has been nominated and selected to receive the 2023 K-12 Equity Leadership Award from Sac State University.
This award is a testament to Secondo’s dedication and commitment to helping students thrive, as Secondo’s peers nominated her to win this award.
“I am extremely humbled and honored to be recognized by the review committee at California State University, Sacramento to receive the 2023 K-12 Equity Leadership Award. Out of the numerous accolades that you could present to someone in education, being recognized for Equity Leadership is the award I would select if given my choice. It is a team effort and a main focus at Leroy Greene Academy, on behalf of LGA’s leadership team I accept this honor and look forward to the ceremony,” Secondo says.
Secondo will be recognized during a virtual celebration on September 18th.
